30 THINGS THE BLOOD OF JESUS DOES

30 THINGS THE BLOOD OF JESUS DOES

The blood of Jesus provides the only solution to my greatest problem. I was a born into a fallen world, resigned to participate in a degenerate existence with no hope of recovery. The pain of sin and death immediately attached itself to me and put into perpetual motion the ravages of death, each day drawing me closer to my eternal demise. Even my own will, separated from God, would be owned by my greatest enemy to disseminate deceit and to seal my own fate. Apart from the redeeming power of the blood of Jesus Christ, I was doomed. But God demonstrated His own love for me in that while I was still a sinner, Christ died for me (Romans 5:8). My biggest problem solved!

The blood of Jesus has the power to release the grip of the great curse, the ramifications for that are immeasurable. I have provided a list below, along with a single verse for each item, to get you started in your journey through the richness of each glorious truth.

1. My debt is paid, once and for all: “So Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.” (Hebrew 9:28).

2. I am justified: “Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. “ (Romans 5:9).

3. I am forgiven: “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace” (Ephesians 1:7).

4. I am spared from God’s wrath: “Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. “ (Romans 5:9).

5. I am being spiritually healed; one day even my flesh will be replaced with an incorruptible body: “…who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sin, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.” (I Peter 2:24).

6. I am spiritually alive: “Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.” (John 6:53).

7. My judgment has been satisfied and I am at peace with God: “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5).

8. The bloodstream of His people Israel will be purged. “For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the Lord dwells in Zion” (Joel 3:21).

9. I am cleansed: “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” (I John 1:7)

10. I have the power to overcome the enemy: “And they over came him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” (Revelation 12:11).
11. I am no longer under the curse of the law: “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”).” (Galatians 3:13).

12. I have been reclaimed from the enemy: “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” (Ephesians 1:7).

13. I am no longer a stranger to the covenant of promise: “…that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.” (Ephesians 2:12-13).

14. The final act of public expiation has been made on my behalf: “For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life.” (Leviticus 17:11).

15. I have been moved from the enemy’s kingdom into the kingdom of God: “Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.” (Colossians 2:15).

16. I have gained the unmerited favor of God: “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” (Ephesians 1:7).

17. I have been declared righteous: “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21).

18. I have been justified (just as though I had never sinned): “being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed…” (Romans 3:24-25).

19. I am able to come close to God: “But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.” (Ephesians 2:13).

20. I can participate in the sweet communion of remembrance of His sacrifice: “Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.” (Luke 22:20).

21. My redemption will never perish: “Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.” (1 Peter 1:18-19).

22. Jesus testifies on my behalf that I am clean: “…and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washedus from our sins in His own blood and has made us kings[ and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” (Revelation 1:5).

23. I am free: “Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.” (Galatians 5:1).

24. I am protected from judgment: “that you shall say, ‘It is the Passover sacrifice of the Lord, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt when He struck the Egyptians and delivered our households.’” So the people bowed their heads and worshiped.” (Exodus 12:27).

25. I am freed from a conscience defiled by guilt: “let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.” (Hebrews 10:22).

26. I am no longer condemned: “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.” (Romans 8:1).

27. I have been separated from the world and declared holy (wholly) to God: “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”

28. I can proclaim total victory: “And they over came him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” (Revelation 12:11).”

29. I can enter boldly into the holiest of holies…and live. “Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and having a High Priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.” (Hebrews 10:19-22).

30. I have further revelation of who God is: “who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high…” (Hebrews 1:3).

POWER IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS

POWER IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS
His blood redeems us:
There was a price against us that we could not pay, but the blood of Jesus redeemed us. First Peter 1:18-19 says, "For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect."
His blood brings us into fellowship with God:
According to Ephesians 2:13, "But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ." Without the blood of Christ, man is a long way from God.
His blood makes peace with God:
Man, by nature, is at war with God; and we can only come to God on His peace terms—the blood atonement. The Bible says in Colossians 1:20, "And, having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself ..."
His blood cleanses:
Not only does it remove the punishment of sin, it removes the pollution. I don't care what sin you've committed; "the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7).
His blood gives power over the devil:
It's the blood that Satan fears. Revelation 12:11 says, "And they overcame him [Satan] by the blood of the Lamb ..." The devil doesn't want you to learn about the blood. He hates it!
Before this planet was ever swung into space, God had determined in His heart that He would send His Son to die upon the cross. How wonderful it is to trace the scarlet thread of the blood of Christ woven throughout the Bible! How much more wonderful to experience its redemption personally. Praise God for the blood of His Lamb!

WHAT A GREAT LESSON

WHAT A GREAT LESSON
A psychologist walked around a room while teaching stress management to an audience. As she raised a glass of water, everyone expected they'd be asked the "half empty or half full" question. Instead, with a smile on her face, she inquired: "How
heavy is this glass of water?" Answers called out ranged from 8 oz. to 20 oz.
She replied, "The absolute weight doesn't matter. It depends on how long I hold it.
If I hold it for a minute, it's not a problem. If I hold it for an hour, I'll have an ache in my arm. If I hold it for a day, my arm will feel numb and paralyzed. In each case, the weight of the glass doesn't change, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes." She continued, "The stresses and worries in life are like that glass of water. Think
about them for a while and nothing happens. Think about them a bit longer and they begin to hurt. And if you think about them all day long, you will feel paralyzed –
incapable of doing anything." Remember to put the glass down

YOUR EX IS NOT YOUR FRIEND

YOUR EX IS NOT YOUR FRIEND
Are you a friend to your Ex? do you talk often? Are you always chatting, Meeting up, etc? If the answer is yes to any of these questions then the man or woman you call Ex is not.
You can't be friends with your Ex, and this particular topic is causing a lot of mayhem in many relationships; one spouse is comfortable talking to the ex, while the other wonders ‘what at all do they talk about’? Why did they let that relationship go? Their response is, ‘I can't hate my Ex, he or she is just a friend’.
Love usually starts from being strangers, to friends, then lovers. Anytime the love is over, you get back to your default status which is strangers who are familiar; not enemies and it doesn’t mean you hate your Ex.
Familiar in the sense of what we once had or shared, but the relationship, feelings and what we once shared is dead. What is left in the archives is history. Because we are no longer together, there is nothing to talk about or celebrate for we have learnt our lessons and moved on.
No matter how good a medicine or drug is it can only work best before death, but after death nothing can be cured. It is same with relationships.

Love is possible after friendship but friendship is not possible after love.
The only time friendship is possible after love is when love is still present and not gone at all. The only time medicine can cure is when death has not occurred; if the medicine still works then one is not dead yet or just pretending to be dead.
Being an Ex means thank you for your time, relationship, love, experience, memories. We are done and have moved on. This is why you need all the time to examine your relationship and be sure if you need some space to think things over or really want to end it. If you don't do this process right, you always cause trouble for your next relationship.
It even has the power to spark cheating, insecurity or even end your new relationship prematurely. When there are unresolved conflicts, lack of affection and satisfaction, one is tempted to go back to the Ex. Anytime something goes wrong, you are quick to compare your relationship with what you had with your Ex.
Since attention breeds affections, constant communication with your ex can start a relationship you never planned. Again, talking to your Ex can most at times bring back some memories which can send you back into each other’s arms.
Never make your partner feel insecure if you really love them and want to be with them. Make them your only one, not your number one with the Ex on the bench waiting for an opportunity to correct their mistakes or win your love.
If you can lose someone you never dreamt of losing which is your Ex, please replace them with someone you never dreamt of having and stick to them by choice...
A word is enough for the wise!!!
So stop fooling yourself...

THE MAN CALLED "82 DIVISION"

THE MAN CALLED "82 DIVISION"
His name is Kingsley but because of his rugged stance to war bay issues we labelled him 82 division. He never flops neither does he live below expectation. In every command function, punctuality is his watchword. I admire him for his discipline and cherish his agility when jungle mature. He was one of those that accompanied me inside the bush the day we led siege against some cultist behind hostel C from 12am to around 2am of which we ended up catching 15 cult members.
He meditates everyday between 4am to 5am with his fingers crossed while sitting on his bunk and sometimes in the afternoon. He was my lieutenant, roommate, a brother and an agile personality but the only problem is that 82 never believed in God or Jesus Christ. In fact he often say to the hearing if people that God is very stupid and that Jesus is a hopeless person for dying for others. In fact any attempt to sway his beliefs often lead to aeries of insult against God. He is not a womanizer and a good guy to relate with. We often think and thought he was diabolical but the only proof is the ring in his index finger. Till date I think i was the only person who removed the ring but gave it back to him. He hates everything about God and detest Jesus Christ with no reason.
So I later had a fall out with him in my 4th year as he was in his 3rd year in law faculty. Although I had a lot of fall out with so many persons especially principal officers of the co
mmand that led to my compulsory retirement from the command. My fall out with 82 was a serious blow because he treated me with contempt. So you can imagine how I felt to see him in church today with his bible. I often pray for him and was so so excited to shake his hands once again. He said he will call me after I tried the number he gave me which didn't go through. I gave him my complimentary nevertheless.
There are many like him all over the world and yet we profess Christianity. I believe that actions should speak more than words. Jesus never ask us to show love only to those who love us but also to those who hate us and treat us unfairly.
So I dedicated this write to all those struggling to accept the truth about the lordship of Jesus. You lose nothing by taking a step of faith rather you gain all the more! So so happy!!

SURGEON JUMPS FROM BRIDGE AFTER DIVORCE FROM TV PERSONALITY WIFE

SURGEON JUMPS FROM BRIDGE AFTER DIVORCE FROM TV PERSONALITY WIFE

A top local surgeon and the ex-husband of ABC News’ chief women’s health correspondent killed himself by leaping off the George Washington Bridge, it was reported Sunday.
Dr. Robert Ashton, 52 — who was divorced from Dr. Jennifer Ashton two weeks ago — jumped from the span around 8:40 a.m. Saturday, the Fort Lee Daily Voice said.
The pair lived across the street from each other in Fort Lee, which is in the shadow of the bridge.
“Our hearts r broken that the father of my teenage children took his own life yesterday,” Jennifer Ashton wrote on her Facebook page Sunday.
“As an MD he helped so many and we will remember his warmth gen
erosity and kindness.”

Although she didn’t specify what drove her ex to suicide, Jennifer Ashton said his death should serve as a wake up call to anyone with a loved one suffering from depression.
“We know that many families struggle everyday with depression while others like us don’t have any warning,” she wrote. “We hope by sharing some of Rob’s story it will save others the heartache we feel. You are never alone. Pls get help. May he Rest In Peace.”

Robert Ashton had been a thoracic surgery director at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, according to the Daily Voice, and chief thoracic surgeon at Hackensack University Medical Center.
His body was recovered at Hazard’s Dock in the Palisades Interstate Park.
